Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks, cargo vessels, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, accuracy, and correct labels.
- Organize, package, and label inventory in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and update stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required but a plus).
