Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle inbound and outbound shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and maintain organized stock levels within the freezer and coolers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Environmental Maintenance: Monitor temperature logs and assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary warehouse environment.
- Product Handling: Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper storage conditions to prevent spoilage.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly in cold environments.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License preferred; forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with team leads.
