Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto trucks, pallets, and shelves using hand trucks and forklifts.
- Inventory Accuracy: Scan items and verify order details to ensure 100% accuracy before shipment.
- Package Preparation: Properly pack and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep forklifts, pallet jacks, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent eyesight and the ability to spot discrepancies in inventory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is preferred but not always required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
