Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor 15+ team members on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement OSHA compliance measures and maintain accident-free workplace
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP/JDA)
- Analyze KPIs (productivity, accuracy, turnaround) and implement improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (purchasing, transportation, quality control)
- Manage facility maintenance and equipment scheduling
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and forklift operator license
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or JDA)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Forklift certification and experience with automated systems
- Ability to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
