Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, track, and organize inventory within the freezer and cooler environments to maintain stock accuracy.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor and maintain strict temperature controls in storage areas to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
- Organization: Keep storage aisles clear and organized, adhering to strict safety protocols and warehouse regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on material handling equipment and reporting any issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme cold environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately while maintaining high standards.
