Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to maximize warehouse space utilization.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL Class A or B is a plus but not strictly required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
