Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and organizing storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a accident-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.
