Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stack inventory accurately.
- Ensure all materials are stored in the correct designated zones to maximize warehouse space.
- Conduct pre-shift safety inspections on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
