Responsibilities
- Select and Pick: Locate items on the warehouse floor using handheld scanners and pick lists to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Pack and Prepare: Securely pack items in boxes or crates, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for shipping.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems safely.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Organization: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on warehouse floors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, presentable, and able to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and counting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
