Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory with precision and speed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety drills to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a high-volume distribution center.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS), and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
