Responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory records using WMS software and barcode scanning systems
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in real-time
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review
- Implement FIFO protocols and ensure proper storage conditions
- Support physical inventory audits and process improvements
- Train staff on inventory control procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years inventory management or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with WMS platforms (SWM, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
