Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and internal policies to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory accuracy to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and CPR/First Aid certification are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
