Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate inventory management and order fulfillment
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintaining OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams to coordinate seamless operations
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervision experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Forklift certification and demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Proficiency in inventory control methodologies and WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
