Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products.
- Load and Unload: Accurately load and unload shipments onto trucks, ensuring weight distribution and cargo security.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through scanning and labeling processes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory and handling tasks.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License (Class B or C preferred for delivery duties).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
