Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Update inventory databases using ERP systems to reflect real-time stock levels.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for maximum efficiency and safety compliance.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding stock movement and inventory valuation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (spreadsheets and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate warehouse environments.
