Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS systems
- Process inbound/outbound shipments, verify documentation, and update inventory records
- Maintain accurate stock levels for 5,000+ SKUs in a 50,000 sq ft warehouse
- Generate weekly/monthly inventory reports for management review
- Collaborate with purchasing team to optimize reorder points and minimize stockouts
- Implement FIFO protocols and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials
- Train new staff on inventory procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (OSHA 10-hour safety training a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
