Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical counts of merchandise and reconcile inventory discrepancies with system records.
- Utilize barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to log incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory documentation and filing systems.
- Assist in the organization and layout of the warehouse to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Identify damaged or defective goods and report them to the supervisor for proper disposal or return.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock replenishment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with handheld scanning devices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
