Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspecting: Accurately receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damage.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Data Entry: Update and maintain digital inventory records using company ERP systems and spreadsheets with 100% accuracy.
- Stock Organization: Locate, organize, and stock merchandise on shelves and in storage areas according to established safety and organizational protocols.
- Reporting Discrepancies: Identify and report inventory shortages or damages immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
- Shipment Preparation: Assist in the packing, labeling, and preparation of outbound shipments for delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups). Experience with barcode scanners and inventory management software (SAP, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
