Apex Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Clerk to join our growing logistics division. We are looking for candidates who take pride in accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our stock, ensuring that our inventory data is precise and our operations run smoothly. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain high standards of safety and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or discrepancies immediately.
- Input and update inventory data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist in the receiving, verifying, and stocking of incoming shipments.
- Prepare pallets and manage outbound shipping documentation.
- Keep the warehouse aisles and storage areas organized and safe.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize inventory flow and storage space.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
