Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure 99.9% accuracy of stock levels.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damage before recording.
- Data Entry: Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and manual ledgers in real-time to reflect stock movements.
- Returns Processing: Efficiently handle returns, exchanges, and the disposition of damaged or obsolete goods.
- Stock Organization: Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse layout to optimize picking and packing efficiency.
- Reporting: Generate and review reports to identify inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience with barcode scanners and WMS software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
