Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Log inventory data into the ERP system using barcode scanners and handheld devices.
- Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies in stock levels or damaged goods immediately.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to optimize space and retrieval efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of outbound shipments and coordinate with the shipping team.
- Generate and maintain detailed inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or Warehouse Associate preferred.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities, discrepancies, and order values.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Forklift certification is a significant plus but not required.
