Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock records, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Package, label, and prepare goods for shipment, verifying all documentation and quantities.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas organized and tidy to facilitate efficient workflow and retrieval.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is highly preferred.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read shipping manifests and labels.
- License: Valid Driver's License is a plus.
