As a Material Handler, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that our inventory flows efficiently and accurately. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail makes a tangible impact.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform receiving, counting, and stocking tasks to maintain precise inventory records.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping paperwork, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and orderly to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Equipment: Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and shipping processes.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
