Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move stock, materials, and products.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas to maximize space utilization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in packing and labeling outbound orders for timely delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
