Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks with precision and speed.
- Inventory Management: Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing lists, and stock materials in designated areas.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and secure wrapping to prevent damage.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate digital records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards, wear required PPE, and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment or material handling role is preferred.
- Certification: Current forklift certification (CPL) is a plus; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail are essential.
