Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels and track inventory.
- Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack, label, and prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials to and from storage areas.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading pick tickets and scanning barcodes.
- License: Valid Forklift certification (we will train certified candidates).
