Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to designated storage areas.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Picking & Packing: Retrieve orders using RF scanners, verify item descriptions and quantities, and prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure operational safety.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) is highly desirable.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with inventory management systems.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
