Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Utilize warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and conduct cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock.
- Packing & Shipping: Properly pack, label, and prepare products for domestic and international shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Stock Organization: Rotate inventory regularly to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) processes are followed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to read shipping labels and documents.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
