Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, and update inventory records.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items to ensure they are ready for distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Transloading: Assist in transloading materials between different transport modes as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
