Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment (equipment provided).
- Verify and count items received, and ensure they are properly stocked and organized.
- Package and label materials for shipment, ensuring all safety regulations are met.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory and safety documentation.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training upon hiring (we provide the equipment).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
