Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and performance standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Manage inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and logistics coordination
- Generate performance reports and metrics for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and operational data
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics preferred
