Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and minimize waste.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Proven track record of meeting safety and productivity targets.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
