In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between our operational teams and management, driving process improvements and ensuring our inventory management meets the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency and throughput.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and strong morale.
- Implement and rigorously monitor safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Collaborate with supply chain managers to improve logistics processes and reduce operational costs.
- Train new employees on standard operating procedures, equipment usage, and safety guidelines.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track shipments and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading teams and successfully improving operational efficiency.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
