Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from shipping vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software (WMS).
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Organize and stack pallets in designated storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including packing and labeling.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report any issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in logistics preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
