As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and our shipping processes run smoothly. We pride ourselves on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, count stock, and update records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following proper storage protocols.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods for shipment to ensure they arrive intact.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
