Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure accurate quantity and quality upon receipt.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict adherence to OSHA standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and update stock records in the management system.
- Package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks (certification preferred).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
