Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated areas, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely, strictly following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; relevant warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
