Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated storage areas while maintaining accurate records.
- Picking & Packing: Fulfill customer orders by selecting items and preparing them for shipment with high attention to detail.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and inventory logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a fast-paced environment.
