As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receiving to shipping. We are looking for candidates who are safety-conscious, physically fit, and ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to customer specifications and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse workflows and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
