Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and distribution of materials while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Label, stock, and organize inventory in designated storage areas using inventory management software.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators regarding stock levels and delays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role is required.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a major plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license may be required for delivery tasks.
