Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to move, locate, and place merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock counts, and process pick tickets accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus but not required; we provide paid training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift certification.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
