Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular cycle counts and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (if applicable, otherwise willing to train the right candidate).
- Skills: Basic math skills and proficiency with handheld scanners or computer systems.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
