Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate material handling equipment (including forklifts and pallet jacks) to load and unload trucks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and maintain organized warehouse records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping according to strict quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork and digital logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
