Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items to ensure safe delivery and compliance with shipping standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to 5S standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in a warehouse setting.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory counts.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for weighing and counting items.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with a diverse team of logistics professionals.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
