Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and inventory management systems. Conduct cycle counts and stockroom organization.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols. Report hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Load/Unload Operations: Efficiently load and unload trucks, verifying cargo against shipping manifests.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of clutter to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- License: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform heavy physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS).
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
