Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement process improvements to reduce waste and optimize storage space.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the inventory control team to resolve discrepancies and manage stock rotation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
