Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily flow of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to boost morale and productivity.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize order fulfillment and reduce lead times.
- Implement process improvements and lean methodologies to increase operational efficiency.
- Handle personnel issues, conduct performance reviews, and manage scheduling and overtime allocation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and hands-on experience with warehouse machinery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
