Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Manage logistics schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods and resolving any operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare and review daily reports, including productivity metrics and inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain warehouse organization systems to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain during paid training).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to give clear instructions.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
