Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Verify and count incoming stock and materials, and record inventory data accurately using warehouse management software.
- Pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize warehouse storage to maximize efficiency and adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on handling equipment and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Certification in operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the role.
