Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Data Entry: Update inventory records and perform cycle counts to track stock levels accurately.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
